Sales Representative

Airtel Wireless is looking for experienced sales people. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and expanding a sales territory and making daily sales calls. This position requires someone with drive and enthusiasm, selling, networking, presentation and organizational skills. Motorola iDEN technology and/or 2-way radio sales experience is an asset as well as the following:

A proven record of sales and productive business practices
Must be comfortable and accurate dealing with numbers
Must have effective communication skills, both written and oral
Persistent work ethic as it applies towards achieving company goals
Self starter, high energy, results orientated and a team player

Primary Responsibilities

Open up and develop new accounts in assigned territory
Grow existing accounts by selling additional products and servicing existing products
Cold call and set up appointments for sales calls
Maintain accurate and up to date records
Analyze monthly sale results and prepare reports as required
Develop a comprehensive knowledge of Company’s products & services; how and who to sell them to
Operate in a cross-functional team by communicating customer requirements, market trends and competitive information
Analyze marketing tactics and implement strategies to maximize sales and margin opportunities
Coordinate service requirements in an effective, efficient and financially sensible manner
Participate in Company’s meeting and seminars
Promote the Company both internally and externally
